Basic Math Review ABO 0 Credits (Technical / Level 3) Florida 1 Credit Diane F. Drake, LDO, ABOM, FCLSA, FNAO This course will review basic math principles that will enable the optician to use the necessary formulas that are needed on a regular basis to analyze a prescription and fabricate eyewear. INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES: Upon completing this course the participant should be able to: * solve problems in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions and decimals; * convert metric values to the US System of Weights, and * solve problems in basic algebra.
